with a gasp, stormy wrapped her tail around
the kitten to protect her from her sister's
jabbing paw. her green optics blazed with
green fire as she stared at her sister in
astonishment. "what do you think you're
doing!?" stormcloud hissed at her sister.
turning to the half-conscious kitten, her green
gaze grew softer and her voice reduced to a
purr. "are you alright dear?" the femme cooed,
suddenly realizing that she wished she had her
own young ones to raise. she shoved that thought
away with a bitter thought. "no one will like you,
stormcloud. you're a mess. who wants to deal with
an emotionally unstable she-cat?" stormcloud shook
her head an sighed wistfully. it may never come true
but at least she could dream. |

a baby, and there must be something
up with her or she wouldn't have passed
out." the femme murmured, inspecting the
kitten.
out of the corner of her eye, she spotted a small
cave that would be hard for other shadowclanners
to find. stormy picked up the kiten gently by the
scruff and slipping into the cave. it was light due to a
tiny crack in the ceiling, so you could see. the femme
set the kitten down on a clump of moss and got to work,
trying to make a nest ofr the kitten.
"we should keep her here, just in case shadowlcan won't
accept her." stormcloud told her sister. |

peppers vision blured as she drifted into an uneasy sleep.she was uncomfortable in this new bed instead of her furry bed at home,but she was so tired she fell asleep quickly.she drempt about her home.her mother was sepirated from her,so she had always longed for someone to cuddle.in her dream,the pretty black feline,was the closest thing she had.
