hmm... well, the darkhearts and monarchy would probably definitely not be allies. but i certainly do have a few interesting plot ideas for them. of course they could be enemies, and perhaps the darkhearts could steal prey from the monarch... or look into the pyro idea with shadowclan.
they could capture daggerpaw and take him as prisoner, forcing him to use his powers to make the forest near the monarch on fire. but we need to find something to make the monarchy and the darkhearts go to war. i remember our original plot was for some rouges to start an anti-clan and have war with war with the monarchy. but of course, the monarchy has been inactive and nobody wants to join, and now our other plot ideas have been destroyed by the death of evergreenpaw. :/ *sigh* why must my clans end up like this? always?

d'aww. well, we are trying to breathe some life into it.
i don't think they'd want to capture daggerpaw, as shadowclan is a bit more "anti-clan" than the rest and might end up as an alley.
the idea me and liara had was that the darkhearts would send a scouting patrol towards the monarchy and things would turn sour, perhaps a border skirmish killing an npc and they become enemies after that.

well, i was thinking the anti-clan bloodclan would be formed again (from the books) with the rogues, and they could be allies with shadowclan and/or the darkhearts. or enemies. either way, i figured something more evil. i don't really see a border skirmish as a difficulty for the monarch. now killing one of the cats in the monarch would probably be enough to ruffle regalstar's fur, but... something more powerful, or dangerous. or something to make everyone angry.

I might like Shadowclan and the Darkhearts to be allies eventually. Anyway, maybe one of the two groups can capture someone from the other group and that can lead to a bigger fight? Like an NPC Monarch cat could be killed and a Darkheart is captured, which can lead to a raid.
Just had an idea!
If the monarchy captures a Darkheart, they could capture Imperfectpaw, which would make Darksoul really angry!

well, i don't mind the monarchy capturing a darkheart, but regalstar will have nothing to do with it. she is moreso civilized, like firestar. and that actually sounds like a pretty good idea. but i'm thinking it should be like... a young, strong-willed tom in the monarch, whom is just too young to understand the bad in it. not flame though. but someone who could suggest it. but the darkhearts would have to act first.

basically, a border scuffle escalates so that a monarchy npc dies and another npc from the monarchy captures imp.

oh for crying out loud, i will find someone.(or make him myself) i don't want the tom from the monarch to really be a npc, because i see him as more a valued character. he is important to the plot, and i have more ideas than just this with him. but as far as a npc death, i don't mind.
i still don't quite see how this will work out though.
but in conclusion, i will see if my friend can roleplay him, and if not, i will make him myself. besides, i was talking about making a normal monarch character so i wouldn't just have regalstar, but the only thing is it would be kind of awkward to capture my own character ^^
