auburnfrost twisted after lithely. she swiped with her claws, aiming blow after blow before dancing out of range.

he stood, hissing as the irritating she-cat seemed to jump around like a dog. he waited, attentively, looking for her. then slithering across the ground like a snake, mackerel headed for his opponent. this would end now. hoping he was within range, he leaped off the ground and threw himself in what he thought was her direction, praying to starclan that he landed atop the she-cat and not hard ground.
[this is very entertaining...]

auburn barely managed to duck out of the way in time. she gave a yelp of pain as mackerel landed partially on her tail.

Flame growled, leaping forward. He grabbed at Mackerel's scruff, hoping to drag him away from the stranger, and end the battle.

the young tom let out a growl as he was dragged away from his opponent. his pride was angered by the way the battle ended. flame had made him look weak! mackerel dug his claws into the ground and tugged himself free from flame's grip, spitting in defiance. "she started the battle!" he hissed at his clanmate, his fur ruffled in irritation. "it's not my fault she is sensitive to words."

auburnfrost's hackles were still raised in case any other monarchy cats tried to avenge their clanmate. she stood there, a growl rising in her throat. blood dripped from minor wounds but other than that she was no worse for wear.

[that's what i was trying to figure out. i guess mackerel could make the suggestion to the npc, the npc will capture imp, and in return darksoul will have the npc killed

(I think that the NPC can get away, for now, unless you want Regalstar to be mad just at Mackerel, Nighty.)

[i was thinking npc captures imp on a private outing, that way he can get away easier... and then he brings her to the castle and when regalstar finds out about it, she punishes him as well with something. but then darksoul finds out that imp has disappeared, turns to the monarchy because of the recent border skirmish, and then finds out that they did capture her. so from there, he orders the npc to be killed. that causes a drift between the darkhearts and the monarchy.}
