skyclan was inactive. and that might make them a target. so evereststar decided to try something that might fix both problems. "skyclan, get your butts over here! it's time for some training!" he called. his tail flicked impatiently at his side.

sparrowflight remained in his den, feeling very defiant at the moment. while of course, decemberkit hurried over in a jiffy, as if she were being apprenticed. but then again, she was nearing her final moon, so...

Moon trotted up to the group, her eyes flicking from cat to cat excitedly. Why were there so few people? They were going to be training! TRAINING! T R A I N I N G ! TTTTRRRRAAAAIIIINNNNIIIINNNNGGGG!!!!

snowpaw darted over to her daddy and stuck close by his side. she didn't like being around big groups without him being there.

evereststar's harsh gaze softened as he gazed down at his adoptive daughter. he let out a soft, reassuring purr that only he and snowpaw could hear. "go train now," he whispered. "the other cats will be kind to you and i want you to learn to defend yourself in case i'm ever not there to keep you safe," he purred quietly.

decci grew excited at the sight of snowpaw. though they didn't necessarily talk a whole lot because of nighty's absence, she still spoke to the shy she-cat at meetings and stuff, and saw her as a friend. the black she-cat padded a few steps toward the she-cat before backing up. she didn't want to get fussed at by evereststar. so warily, she murmured, "hi snowpaw!"

Moon padded over to Snowpaw. Trying not to overwhelm the shy she-cat, she stayed a few tail lengths away from her. "Hi, Snowpaw. Hi, Decci."
