saplingpaw padded over and settled beneath the boulder. perhaps this could be her ceremony? no... she'd have to discuss it with spectrum first. she still needed to be assessed, too.

unsolvedpaw padded over and sat off to the side, thinking of daggerpaw. how could she keep her rank as a medicine cat and be with the tom? maybe they just weren't meant to be.

Snowpaw smiled at Luckystrike in greeting. He was a great cat, and it was super that he mentored Snowpaw's friend, cherrypaw. It meant cherrypaw often trained with Snowpaw (we should do this in a thread. Leo, can they join our training thread for a bit to train with us?), which was awesome.

seeing most of his clan had been assembled, the tom let a smile grace his lips and he cleared his throat. "first things first; I need to clarify a few ranks, seeing as I've tweaked one and added two more. First, the medics will no longer be called shamens. they will be medicine cats, based on tradition. second, I've added some ranks; rank one is the ambassadors. a small group that will act as the messengers and part planners of the clan. they are semi-high positions. rank two is the senior warrior rank. the senior warriors are a group of specially picked windclanners who will act as advisors. anyone can come to them for advice. these are high positions." the tom gave them a moment to let his words sink in before continuing. "there will also be a deputy contest. the most active warrior will receive the post of deputy. on that note, promotions. if they accept, i'd like to have cheesepaw and saplingpaw step up as our ambassadors. you two have shone activity and promise around the clan. and for the senior warriors, i'd like to ask luckystrike to assume this rank despite horsey's protesting seeing as he is a very trustworthy and honorable member. do you three accept?"
