"I agree, we can go to the border and check for scents. We can hunt there as well along the way." he said. If there was a scent over there again, then he might think about bringing a patrol over to speak to Spectrumstar.

she nodded and continued along the path silently, not knowing really what to say. occasionally, she would lift her head up to sniff the air. |

Blackstar padded alongside Scarlet, but when they neared the Windclan border he slowed, sniffing the air. "Do you smell anything?" He asked her. There was the scent of the border, and he scented the air again to try and detect any fresh scent.

the brown tortie stopped and sniffed the air, smiling with satisfaction. "the scents are stale. i'm guessing from about a few days ago, or perhaps even a week." she said, looking around. then something hit her. "just out of curiosity, blackstar, you don't happen to know someone in shadowclan who may be paying frequent visits to windclan, do you?" |
