Fall stared at the giant bird until it was on the ground, picking up a small rodent. She lunged, and a swift an powerful blow to the neck killed it.

ember just stared and watched, not knowing what to do. his instincts told him to protect fall, so he dashed forward, however he didn't think he'd be much use considering the bird was dead.(?)

[okay. wow. ocean is like... fluttershy!  ] ember sighed. he approved of the she-cat's hunting, and her catch. however, the rest of them hadn't gotten the chance to really do anything. (don't worry, it's just ember's thinking. i have plans for him throughout this hunting thread to realize that he isn't going to be a prey-hunter) |
