suddenly, the kitten grew silent and dropped her gaze to the floor, feeling horrible. "i'm sorry. i-i can't control it! it just keeps getting stronger and stronger and i don't know what to do." she explained quietly.

Phantompains stood there awkwardly. He had no idea what to do. The tom had bitten off more than he could chew. The young warrior gently tapped the she-kit on her shoulder to get her attention. "I don't care," the tom offered his comfort shyly, afraid she'd lash out. "I know this isn't the real you. The real you, I'm sure is kind and caring and a wonderful cat. And I'm certain that the real you won't let this-this copy, this emotion, take over. Because though it is going to be hard, you are strong and I know you can overcome this if you just try hard enough!" the black tom shifted on his haunches cautiously. The speech had sort of popped out of him. Strange. It felt good though, like the tom had new power, a new tool under his belt. Who knew?

daggerkit stared from a distance, his green gaze narrowed. a bipolar kit, in shadowclan? that's great. another thing to make shadowclan seem awfully cruel. the rather grim tom shook away his thoughts. though he was unusually grouchy today--due to the held off apprentice ceremony--he still cared for his clanmates. but even though he did, that didn't mean the silent kit was going to strut on over and attempt to comfort a moody she-cat. heck, she would probably claw his ears off before he'd even been given the chance to speak! rolling his eyes from the attention being given to her, he turned away to look at a random tree. though he still had the urge to go on over and give den-mate advice. |

stormkit looked up at the warrior with big, hopeful green eyes. "d-do you really think so?" she sniffled, feeling her heart swell like a balloon. the tom's speech made her feel more confident. she offered him a weak smile, her eyes glistening. "thank you, sir." she whispered.
