Secretmoon took a step back. Who were these cats?
Nighkit felt a wave of relief rush over her. She watched the leopard cub in the corner through narrowed eyes.
Secretmoon glared at the kit.

ashy stood back feeling awkward. she hadn't known her brother really well, and hadn't got the chance for long, and now she regretted it. as she looked between cats, her eyes trained on secretmoon. she just happened to catch the cub's glare at her friend, and that's when she let out a low hissing sound, stepping over to nightkit protectively.

Secretmoon turned her cold gaze on the other kit.
Nightkit smiled gratefully at Ashura, but still stepped towards the leopard. "Who are you?" she asked.

the cougar cub returned the gaze, her claws digging at the earth irritably.

he let out a small smile, only for his sister. "for you i'd walk across the earth and back to say hello." he whispered, meaning every word. and he couldn't say that about anyone else.

ash turned her attention back to her siblings and sighed, letting her tail fall to drag in the sand. there was this emptiness in her heart, and she didn't know how to fill it. the she-cub started back to their territory, not saying a word.
