Autumnleaves smiled. Good. Now she could observe both the young herbals at the same time. She was still undecided on who would become the high herbal. but whispey knew exactly who it would be

"yeah, ash. coal is going to commit suicide. just so i get to be chief." he said sarcastically, this time an edge to his voice. he shook his head irritably and turned his attention on the cats in front of him. "autumnleaves, you take fireash and sparkle. silverbirch and supernova can come with me. any comments or concerns, issues perhaps, on the split patrols?"

Autumnleaves shook her head. In fact, the split was perfect. This way, she could watch both the young herbals.
Silverbirch darted over to the entrance to wait for her patrol.
Supernova waited for him.

bane looked between the cats, trying to figure out which would be the best place to put the she-cat. right now the patrols were even, unless plush and some other cat decided to come along. he glanced at autumnleaves, as if questioning her whether plush should join his patrol or her's.

Autumnleaves glanced at the two youn herbals then back to Bane, trying to silently hint that she needed to assess them privately. Whispey also thought Plush should go with Bane because she had a twist in mind, and the patrols would soon even out.  |
