Rosepaw was getting bored. She decided to ask Rainstorm to go hunting with her. Why Rainstorm? She asked herself, and she really didn't have an answer. Just cuz. "Hi, Rainstorm. Would you like to hunt?" She said, padding up to him gracefully.

Rainstorm turned to the apprentice with a jerk. "Sure," he replied with a rare smile.

Rosepaw giggled before bounding after him. "Yeah we are the stealthiest hunters." She purred.

Rosepaw padded up and sat next to Rainstorm, her tail gliding across his back, staring at their reflection in the water.

Rainstorm was so intent watching his- their- reflection he didn't notice when a large fish swam up and sat lazily by the edge of the water. "Beautiful," he muttered.

Rosepaw was jolted back to reality as the large fish broke the surface of the water. She reached in and flicked the fish at Rainstorm, purposefully sending droplets of water onto the warrior.

"Hey!" he said and scooped another out of the water, aiming to drench Rosepaw.

Rosepaw dodged most of the water, just a few droplets on her pelt. Then she turned and leaped playfully at Rainstorm.

Rosepaw skidded to a halt right next to Rainstorm. I haven't had this much fun in moons. She thought. "So... wanna hunt?" She flicked at small silver fish high into the air, aiming for it to land right in front of him.

Rainstorm smiled as the fish flee into the air. When it came down he flicked it at Rosepaw. "Sure," he said, scooping another fish out if the water.
