Kingdom of Light
History
There was once a kittypet with light golden fur and white markings on her face, underbelly and tail. Her Two-Legs were abusive and she took the chance she got to run away. The blue-eyed beauty searched for moons until she found the perfect place.She found a beat up castle with an overgrown garden surrounding it, and a forest surrounding it. She had a powerful voice and convinced some loners and rouges in the area to join her. A few had heard of lands where male and female rulers commanded side by side. Light, the ex-kittypet, fell in love with the idea. She started to form ranks, establish boundaries and cement her place as ruler. The cats, in honor of their founder, decided to call this clan the Kingdom of Light.

The cats in the Kingdom live in a stone castle with many rooms. There is a giant room with some small rooms for the Royal Family that is very nice and well kept, and the other cats have rooms that are not as nice but still very well kept. The castle also holds a kitchen, Healer den, and council room. Outside, there is a gigantic garden. Here, cats train, relax, regroup and prepare for duties. A section is devoted to herbs and flowers, used for healing, decorations and luring small prey. Surrounding the camp is a dense forest where the border is.
Beliefs
The cats strictly belive in the Dead Stars. When Light was founding the Kingdom ,she stumbled upon a cave. Inside was a stone that seemed to be holding a piece of light. Light touched her nose to it and immediately fell asleep. A group of cats came to her and told her that they were the Dead Stars, named for the fact that when stars die you can still see their light. The cats would guide them and speak to the Healer, King and Queen. The rock is called the Light Stone.
Traditions
There are a few groups of traditions; The Royal Traditions, the Healer traditions, and the Normal traditions.
Royal: When a new King or Queen begins their rein, they go to the Light Stone to receive nine lives. When a Prince or Princess is born, one, usually the eldest, is selected to become the next Royal-born ruler. She or he will select with the current pair another to rule with them when the King and Queen retire. The other Princes or Princesses will chose a normal path when the Heir begins their rein.
Healer: When a new Healer is chosen, they go to the Light Stone to be accepted by the Dead Stars. There they will swear to do all they can to heal friends and members of the Kingdom. They may retire when they have trained an apprentice and are unable to go about their normal duties.
Normal:Every kit goes to a small cave when they reach six moons. The the Secret and the Dead Stars find them a position. When they have finished their training, they will be recognized by the clan and will begin serving the kingdom. When they become unable to perform their duties they retire.

King (0/1): The male leader of the Kingdom. He is mates with the Queen. He commands the clan and has received nine lives from the Dead Stars.

Queen (1/1): The female leader of the clan. She is mate with the King. She commands the clan and has received nine lives from the Dead Stars.

Heir (0/1): A child of the royal pair. He or she will become mates with the Betrothed and King or Queen when the current pair retires.

Betrothed (0/1): A non-royal kit that has been chosen for the Heir. He or she will become King or Queen when the current pair dies.
Prince (0/∞): A male child of the King and Queen thatis not the Heir. They are treated with high respects, and they will become a semi-high or normal position.
Princess (0/∞): A female child of the King and Queen that is not the Heir. They are treated with high respects, and they will become a semi-high or normal position.

Retired Royals (0/2): Kings and Queens that have retired because they have become unable to perform their duties.

Commander (0/4): They take orders directly from the royal pair. Each commands a separate branch; Royal Guard, Cook, Fighter or Hunter.
Royal Guard (0/5): They guard the royal family and make sure no harm comes to them.
Head Healer (0/1): They are in charge of the Healers and take commands directly from the royal pair.
Healer (0/2): They take commands from the Head Healer. They collect herbs, talk to the Dead Stars and heal the clan.

Healer Apprentice (0/3): They train to be Healers.
Cook (0/1): They select fresh kill for the royals and check it for poison. They learn what animals the royals enjoy, what animals are healthy and what ones are poisonous.
Secret (0/5): They are a secret branch of Royal Guards. They assign kits positions, report gossip, and recruit.
Normal Positions
Lady-in-Waiting: They serve the female royals.
Lord-in-Waiting: They serve the male royals.
Apprentice Cook (0/3): They train to be Cooks.
Secret Apprentice (0/5): They train to be Secret.
Fighter (0/∞): They fight for the clan against enemies.
Hunter (0/∞): They hunt prey for the clan.
Fighter Apprentice (0/∞): They train to be Fighters.
Hunter Apprentice (0/∞): They tarin to be Hunters.
Kit (0/∞): They are younger than six moons and may be selected for the Heir.
Mother (0/∞): They watch over their Kits, and will resume normal duties when their kits leave the nursery.
