shade quickly picked up the scent and nodded. he would rather fight the fox, and get it over with, however if his clanmates weren't ready for it, then he would go along with whatever they wished to do.

Silence almost took the opportunity to roll her eyes, but didn't. "There's a fox in there mousebrain" she commented. There was no mean tone to her voice, she simply said it. Looking at Shade her red-orange optics quickly scanned his face. "Stay or fight?" She asked, deciding she might as well let him decide. |

The she-cat actually took the time to roll her eyes, but now in a more joking manner. "I wasn't asking your opinion, I was asking you what we were going to do" she said. "I'll going around the other side and chase it out, be ready." With that the gray cat disappeared into the underbrush. She scented the air again, taking a moment to observe all the scents surrounding the fox. There was no milk scents, so no cubs. Good Silence thought. Now on the opposite side of the fox, she let out a harsh growl, moving into the area where it was hiding. "Come out come out" she said, letting out a hiss. Seeing it's bright red fur she jumped, scratching it's flank to try and get it out.
The fox shot out of the bush, to distracted to notice the other cat scents, and turned to face the undergrowth it had just exited.

shade lunged forward, taking a nice firm grim on the fox's hindquarters and digging in his unsheathed claws, hoping to distract it from silence so she could land a few useful blows.

The fox yipped, letting out a low whine. It turned, snapped at Shade to try and get him off.
(I should totally make it a character XD)
Meanwhile Silence had approached. Crouching down she leaped, aiming to land on the fox which she managed successfully. Slashing at it's shoulders, she also aimed a bite at it's neck, but it's attempt to bite Shade caused her to miss.

Ocean lunged and sank his teeth into the flank of the fox, bot was shaken off.

As new attackers assaulted the fox, he twisted, aiming to hit Ocean hard across the head with a russet colored paw. His yellowish eyes portrayed both anger and slight confusion as he tried to get away from his attackers

the brown tabby tom then slashed his claws along it's flank in a swift slapping motion, as if he were shoving it aside. he then lunged forward and sank his teeth into it's leg.

Ocean was struck, though only a bit. He groaned, and aimed for the foxes back.

Angrily, the fox whipped around, causing Silence to lose her grip and jump off his back. He snapped at the warrior attached to his leg, as well as lifting a paw and attempting to bring it down into Shade's back.
(Going to go ask Piney if I can make a fox character now XD.)

shade dodged away from the fox's teeth, however couldn't help it when it brought the weight of it's paw down on his back. snarling, he grabbed a hold on the fox's shoulder, using all his strength to try and flip it over onto it's side. once he had it at it's mercy, the fight would be over.
