Blackstar tensed his muscles, leaping easily onto the smooth boulder. His piercing gaze swept over the camp for a moment before he spoke. "Shadowclan, gather!" He said in his deep, smooth voice. "It is time for ceremonies."

Blossomkit smoothed down a patch of fur and padded forward eagerly, but trying to appear calm. She looked up at Blackstar and wondered who her mentor was going to be.

Scarlet was there, smiling at the kit. She really hoped she would get to mentor one of the kits that were apprenticed today.
Fallenkit watched in between grooming of his pelt. He would go next, he just knew it.

"Blossomkit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed." Blackstar began. "From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Blossompaw, Your mentor will be Scarlet" the black tom's eyes went to Scarlet, a slight smile appearing on his features. "I hope she will pass down all she knows on to you."
He then looked at Scarlet, "Scarlet, you are ready to take on an apprentice. You have shown yourself to be loyal and clever. You will be the mentor of Blossompaw, and I expect you to pass on all you know to her."
