Rainbowgleam didn't know that Rainstorm wanted to be deputy. A small part of her was frustrated that her apprentice would follow some tom instead of her mentor, but she ignored it. She padded over to the nursery and playfully shoved Echo's head back in.
Echo squealed excitedly and her first instinct was to attack, but she stayed inside.

If Rainstorm knew Dagger might try to rape Rosepaw, he would march over to shadow clan and rip his head off. But he didn't know. So he sat contentedly by Rosepaw.
