"Game?" Unsolvedpaw echoed, her interest piqued. It wasn't often she got to hang out with a cat about her age, all the apprentices were off training. And in the medicine den, her only friends were the herbs and the starry cats who guided her in her sleep. She didn't have a mentor so all the Clan's medical needs fell directly on her pale grey shoulders. "What type of game?" she asked, unable to resist.

"uh... i don't know. hide and seek? tag? anything really." the tom shrugged, thinking of more suggested games they could play.

"tag would be fun," the she-cat suggested. as a windclanner, she had a distinct advantage. besides, she needed to practice her running.

daggerkit simply nodded, and waited a moment before sticking out a paw; poking unsolvedpaw's shoulder before bouncing out of range. "tag!" he grinned, running along the border. for being a shadowclanner, the young tom was actually very agile. afterall, running through the night was one of his favorite activities. and he wasn't very muscular yet to apply much weight, which would normally slow a cat down. thoughts of running drifted another idea of fun into his mind. they could have a race! but, of course, at the moment they were playing tag, and more than likely the shaman apprentice would be too worn out afterwards to even run a race.

[don't go all museless on me!]
the dark gray tom grinned as he still wasn't caught. he kept glancing over his shoulder at the she-cat, to make sure she wasn't right on his tail. but once, he finally did it. he'd glanced back at unsolvedpaw for too long and he tripped, falling face first into the dirt. daggerkit hissed in agitation as dirt was flung into his mouth. he brought himself to a sitting position and spat, as he felt a stinging coming from his paw. blood oozed from a scratch in his pad, and as he looked back to see what he'd tripped over, he let out a hiss recognizing a sharp rock.

As Daggerkit fell, Unsolvedpaw's crow of victory twisted into a worried shriek as the tom hissed in pain. "Are you alright?" she asked frantically. The she-cat began to lick his pad, washing away the blood.

"i'm fine." he said, grumbling at the pain. then he looked up to see the she-cat's worried expression, all his grimness vanishing and changing into appreciativeness. this was the first time he'd ever been treated kindly, and someone truly cared about him. "thank you." he murmured.

"No problem," Unsolvedpaw blushed, pausing before turning away. "It's what medicine cats are for," she added.

daggerkit nodded. something inside made his heart flutter, but he shoved it aside and stood up, flinching at the pain in his front paw. he then looked at the rock again, narrowing his eyes. "stupid rocks." he said with a chuckle. "they've become my arch enemy."

Unsolvedpaw giggled. Her laugh was high pitched, like a bell tinkling, but sounded a bit rusty. Truthfully as the only Shaman Apprentice, or Shaman for that matter, of WindClan was quite lonely. The she-cat has few close friends.

(We can make another one after ShadowClan gets a leader and he's an apprentice)
