Where Zeus rules the world, monsters are among us, and myths come to life.
History
There was once a beautiful she cat named Andromeda. She was born to a family who strongly believed in Greek Mythology, and so did Andromeda. One day, when they were just kits, her brother, Midas, discovered that he could create and speak to ghosts. And Andromeda was much, much smarter than the average cat. They ran away to keep their powers a secret. But Midas began to use his power for the worst. He scared Andromeda and used his powers against any cat he met. Andromeda tried to reason with him but ended up abandoning him. She soon learned that he had been killed by a pack of rouges shortly after she had left. So Andromeda spent many moons of her life traveling across the land to find a cat who believed in the gods. A cat who had special powers. A cat like herself. Soon Andromeda had traveled far and wide but had found no cat who was like her. So she made a home for herself in an abandoned, large castle that was of Greek origin. She stayed there and taught herself to hunt and fight. She learned to use her powers, and how to control it the way her brother could not. And soon, she received a dream from Artemis and Athena, her two favorite goddesses. Athena told her that she should make a safe place for the cats like her, and also that Athena was the one who gave Andromeda her powers. Artemis told her to go to a certain place in the forest to meet a cat with godly powers.
That cat was a handsome silver and white tom named Perseus. He could control the winds and the sky. He met Andromeda, and they fell in love. Together they traveled to find a place to settle down. They decided to go back to Andromeda's castle and create their clan. One day, as Andromeda was exploring the territory, she found an underground cavern. The cavern was filled with paintings of the gods. Andromeda touched her nose to the picture of Athena and was granted 9 lives to lead her clan with. Andromeda elected Perseus as her deputy and together they began recruiting cats and establishing Greek MythologyClan.
Founders
Greek MythologyClan was founded by Andromeda and Perseus.
Territory
Greek MythologyClan is located in an area that is made to look like Greece. There is a large forest and in the center is the castle that is the camp. The castle has 13 rooms for each of the gods and the cats who follow them on the second floor. There are also dens for the followers of each god and places for them to work, for example there is a blacksmithing workshop adjoining the Hephaestus sleeping den. There is also the nursery and elders den.The high position dens are on the third floor. The first floor is where the cats gather to eat and socialize. There is a throne too in which the leader makes announcements from. Also on the first floor there is a training room for the cats and a storage room for the medic.
In the forest is the Labyrinth. This is where cats go to connect with the gods and cats who have died. The leader also receives 12 lives here. One from each god except Hades.
Beliefs
Greek MythologyClan believes in all the major gods and Hades. They worship and respect them and are granted powers by a certain god. They also believe that when a cat dies, they can go to one of four places. Evil cats go to the Fields of Punishment in the Underworld. Cats who were plain ol' good go the the Fields of Asphodel. They basically do nothing for all eternity, but sometimes are granted permission to visit a living cat in a dream. Cats who truly did good in their life go to Elysium, also in the Underworld. Here, you can choose to be reborn. If you achieved Elysium 3 times in three lives, then you go to the Isles of the Blest. Cats in Elysium and the Isles of the Blest may visit living cats in a dream or Labyrinth visit. Some cats who achieve either Elysium or the Isles of the Blest may be turned into minor gods and reside on Mount Olympus with the gods.
Traditions
Every day, the cats go to the rooms to worship the gods. They make sacrifices of prey and others items. When a kit reaches 6 moons they will be assessed to see what powers they have and which god they should follow. Every moon the medics go to the Labyrinth to talk with the gods.

Cats will loyally follow a specific god.
All gods are to be respected and worshipped
All cats may mate and may mate with cats following other gods.
Cats must be female and completed their apprenticeship before the may choose to become a Hunter of Artemis.

Athena: goddess of wisdom and battle. Cats who follow Athena are very intelligent and are skilled in battle.
Artemis: goddess of the moon and the hunt. Cats who follow Artemis can only be female. They are very stealthy, good at hunting and fighting, and like to be out at night. You cannot immediately join the Hunters of Artemis but once you have finished apprenticeship you may choose to be a Hunter by swearing loyalty to Artemis.
Apollo: god of the sun, healing, and prophecy. Cats who follow Apollo are skilled in hunting and enjoy the sun. Most medicine cats originally followed Apollo. All medics follow Apollo.
Ares: god of war. Cats who follow Ares are bloodthirsty, brutal, and very skilled at fighting but not the smartest. The rely mostly on brute force.
Aphrodite: goddess of beauty and love. Cats who follow Aphrodite are often shallow but will do almost anything for love.
Hermes: god of messengers, travelers, and thieves. Cats who follow Hermes can run faster than the average cat and enjoy pranking each other.
Hera: goddess of family and marriage. Cats who follow Hera are often bossy and are the first to notice when a cat is crushing on another.
Dionysus: god of wine. Cats who follow Dionysus are care free and daring, but know how to throw a good party!
Demeter: goddess of grain and fertility. Cats who follow Demeter can make crops grow extremely quickly and know the names of most herbs. Some medics originally followed Demeter.
Hephaestus: god of blacksmiths. Cats who follow Hephaestus are strong, nimble, and can make excellent weapons.

High Positions
Master: leads the clan and recieves 9 lives from the gods. The leader may not show favoritism toward and section of followers but maintain their powers from their previous group. The leader follows all the gods.
Deputy: the 2nd in command. Takes over when the leader dies.
Medic: trained to use herbs to heal cats, interpret omens from the gods, and follows Apollo. They go to the Labyrinth every moon to talk to the gods.
Head assessor: when kits reach 6 moons the assessor figures out their power and which god they should follow.
Head trainer: oversees training and makes progress reports to the leader
Semi-High Positions
Medic apprentice: In training to become a medic. They follow Apollo.
Oracle: they perform normal duties and the gods speak through them. When a god is speaking through the oracle their eyes glow green. The oracle follows Apollo.
Assessor: assess the kits and their powers to determine which god they should follow. Assessors may continue to follow their gods and participate in duties to them. Assessors must be at demigod rank to become an assessor.
Trainer: they oversee training and power management. They continue to follow their god and must be of demigod rank to become a trainer.
Section leader: one cat from each god who can best use and control their power and have proven themselves worthy. Demigods following the same god may challenge them to a duel for the position. (Note: the section leader almost always wins)
Normal Positions
Demigod: any cat who has completed apprenticeship and have control over their power. All demigods are eligible to become an assessor or trainer in addition to normal duties. All demigods have the right to challenge their section leader for their position. Female demigods may choose to become a Hunter of Artemis but do not have to.
Apprentice demigod: cats learning to hone in on their powers and train with a mentor. Apprentices may become full demigods when their mentor believes they are ready, and then must prove their skills to the leader, deputy, and head trainer.
Hunters: the Hunters of Artemis. During the assessment you cannot get Artemis but after you achieve the rank of demigod, you may become a Hunter.
Kits: cats under the age of 6 moons. When they reach 6 moons they are assessed and then placed in a godly section based on their skills. They do not follow a god until the are assessed. Kits live with their mothers in the nursery.
Queens: the birthmothers. They may continue to follow a god but may not influence their kit's skills for the assessment. Queens live with their kits in the nursery.
Elders: cats who have retired and are unable to perform their duties. They may continue to follow their god, and are respected by the clan. Elders have a separate den.
