( i know, weird name. i strangely was thinking of some song with apology or something in it with eminem singing and it was stuck in my head, so i decided to use it for my museless title )
daggerpaw was padding through the forest(?) looking for lilacpaw. he wanted to apologize to her for his fiery outburst he had in camp. and maybe if he had the guts, he would tell her he liked her.

Lilacpaw was in a hollow, calmed by the scent of catnip. This was a stash of herbs, some herbs she didn't trust to leave in camp. Who knows what a kit would do with honey or catnip. She was still shaking from Dagger's fire outbreak. The trees in flames, her brother dead... Lilac didn't want to think about that terrible night four moons ago.

[sorry horsey. we had to go someplace so... and i supposedly had to make dinner]
at the scent of herbs, immediately daggerpaw knew he was close by. he hated the fact that she was a medicine cat, mainly because they couldn't have mates. and he hurt for it. every day. but he pushed that aside and padded into the clearing silently. he looked down at his paws before walking over to lilacpaw. "hey," he said.

She looked at the ground, pain filling her eyes. "I'm sorry too, I just.... freaked out." All the while she was thinking, Jealous of what?

he flattened his ears. "i'm really sorry." he said, looking at her. he then remembered the fear he saw in her eyes and he felt a surge of disappointment.

"It's okay," she replied, moving closer. "Just learn to control it for me." The golden tabby was a lot happier now, just having him here helped.
