mousetrap didn't reply. the femme was already pressed up against the ground, gliding over the ground like a pro. she had worked hard at hunting, and even though she wasn't the greatest at it, she could catch a thing or two. she turned invisible and slunk toward the tawny creature, nibbling on a seed. she licked her lips. that ouse looked tasty. she waggled her haunches and jumped, ending the creatures life with a quick nip to the neck.

Lilly stood over the stream. When a fat trout swam lazily downstream, she swept it out of the water and killed it, thanking the Cats that hunt in the Stars for the plentiful catch.

the femme picked up the mouse in her jaws and scraped some dirt away and setting the mouse back down. she kicked the dirt back on and moved on, ready to catch something else.

jay had found some daisy along with comfrey already. he kept his herbs tucked safely under a large leaf while he hunted, silently stalking a squirrel that was nibbling on a nut near some bushes. as he neared it, it immediately darted away and up the nearest tree. the gray tom hauled up the tree after it, leaping onto the thick branch that it ran across. he landed atop the creature and stumbled, almost loosing his balance and falling out of the tree. he dug his claws in the branch to balance himself before finally reaching down and nipping at the squirrel's neck and killing it. he picked up his catch and turned to scurry down the tree. as soon as he made it to the bottom, he set his prey down by his herbs and gave his fur a few rough licks before turning to find some more herbs and prey.

Wish slithered through the trees, her eyes fixed on a bird. Once she was about a tail lenght away, she pounced. It let out an alarmed squawk, but it was cut off as she killed it with a bite to the neck. She rejoined the group, her catch dangling from her jaws.

Wish smiled at her. "Nice catch," she murmured.
