Miracle sucked in a deep breath of air. She squeezed her eyes shut before opening them again and doing her best to pad calmly over to the den. Once she made it, she mewed, "yes?" It came out as more of a croak, so she cleared her throat and repeated, clearer now, "yes?"

She smiled weakly. She liked queen Mary, and the jack had seemed nice. Maybe this wouldn't be all that bad...

Miracle zipped out of the den. She let out a faint sigh of relief as soon as she was out. She HATED being the center of attention.
