The tom that Dovekit opened his mouth, before closing it, contemplating his answer. "It's mainly my leg" he said. The tom's left hind leg had been bitten by the dog, and it was probably his worst wound. The bone had been bruised slightly, though not broken, and it was bleeding quite a bit from what were clearly teeth marks. Other than that he had a few scratches, but not much.
The other tom was quite scratched up. One ear was bleeding a great amount, and he quickly ate the poppyseeds offered to him.
Lightskies would have preferred to start with something slightly easier, but this was what they had to work with. She watched Melody feed one of the warriors poppyseeds. It could end up being a good choice, but the warrior could probably handle the pain. As long as he could stay awake the drowsiness could dull the pain, though it kind of depended on the warrior.

Melody rushed to find some oak leaves. She chewed them up into a poultice and spread them across the toms wounds, especially his ear. She then stuck a few catchweed burrs on the poultices, and topped it off with a few wads if cobweb.

Dovekit turned her attention to the leg would and calmly began soaking up the blood with cobwebs. "Lick the wound clean," she instructed briskly to the warrior, indicating his leg wound. She then sorted through her bundle of herbs and pulled out marigold and goldenrod to start with.

The first tom cringed slightly as Melody quickly applied the poultice to his bleeding ear. A small amount of blood leaked from under the dressings, though he continued to stand, slightly drowsy.
"Lick the wound clean" the tom nodded, and once the cobweb was off he set to the task. Gingerly he cleaned the wound, at first trying to clean around it, and then deciding to just get it over with and clean the thing. Once he had finished he stood again, looking at Dovekit for any further instructions.
The shaman watched closely, taking note of both their actions and how they performed said actions. Her blue eyes observed, but she said nothing yet. They flicked upward, scanning the first tom's injured ear, and then down to the other cat's leg, which, now clean, wasn't bleeding nearly as much, barely at all in fact.

Dovekit nodded encouragingly at her warrior. "Perfect," she mewed. She chewed her herbs into a blended poultice of marigold and goldenrod and set them gingerly on his leg, securing it with a cobweb wad.

As she applied the cool poultice to his leg is sighed in silent relief. Hopefully the pain would soon recede further. He smiled thankfully at the younger she-cat. He wasn't sure whether or not his other cuts needed dressing. They all looked as if they would heal on their own, though one was bleeding.

Dovekit smiled at the warrior and applied the rest of the poultice to the larger cuts. "That should be good. You should eat," she said, gesturing to the well stocked freshkill pile. "And rest," she added. "If it hurts then come back for more herbs. Also, try to walk normally but don't exert your leg too much."

"Thanks" he said, turning to walk toward the fresh kill pile. His leg hurt slightly, but as long as he walked lightly, and was careful, he was alright.

The pure white deputy smiled back at the kit, that was one warrior treated. Now she looked at Melody, waiting for the other kit to finish.

Melody smiled at him and ran over to get a water soaked ball of moss. She set it down carefully in front id the tom and mewed, "drink this." Whilr he wad distracted, she carefully watched his bloody cut and spread cobweb across the wound. "Be careful not to move sround too much. We don't want that wound opening up again. And make sure you rest." She padded over to the fresh kill pile and plucked a nice, fat mouse. She had met this cat before and remembered that his favorite foid was mouse. "Eat this," she instructed, pushing the mouse over to him, "and come back if something goes wrong. You should heal quickly." She gave him a reassuring smile and didn't look away until he was in his den, then she looked at Lightskies calmly, hapiness glowing in her blue eyes.

The tom wasn't to thirsty, though his fight had caused a little thirst. He drank, though not to much and turned as Melody began to talk again. He nodded slightly, trying to blink away his slight drowsiness so that he could concentrate on listening to her. Soon she finished, and he smiled thankfully, bending to begin eating the mouth. Reaching up, he wiped a few drops of blood off of his cheek. Taking a bite of his mouth, he looked up at Melody, she was looking up at Lightskies at the moment, but he waited for her to look back and pushed it toward her. "Want any?" He asked, though he realized she would probably decline.
Lightskies smiled back at Melody. She would check the two toms' wounds later, once they finished eating, and do so for the next few days.

Liara was secretly planning something.
Lightskies looked over at Lightningstar, wondering if he wished to say anything.
