it was time. maplestar had returned from the moonstone with her nine lives. "riverclan, gather for a clan meeting!" the lioness bellowed. it was time to announce a deputy.

Rosepaw padded up eagerly, very curious because she was pretty sure that both her mentor and crush wanted to be deputy...

Rainbowgleam padded up excitedly. She hoped that she would be the new deputy, but she would be happy for whoever got the position.

Rainstorm padded up, eyes shining. The tom would LOVE the position of deputy. He felt like he could do it well, leading the warriors. Of course, he thought with a smirk, it was more than that.

Rosepaw sighed quietly, relived that they were getting along. Since Rainbowgleam and Rainstorm both wanted to be deputy, that could potentially get awkward for Rosepaw.

"as you all know, i have recently returned from the moonstone with my nine lives. that means it is time for me to pick a deputy," the lioness began. "now this was a very hard choice as many were worthy of this rank. but one is most worthy. rainbowgleam will be our new deputy," maplestar announced proudly. she hoped she'd made the right choice.

Rainstorm bowed his head sadly before turning to Rainbowgleam with a weak smile. "Congrats," he said shakily before running off.

"Congratulations Rainbowgleam" Timepaw said, dipping his head to the new deputy. He looked back at at Maplestar. She had been a good leader so far, and he was glad he seemed to have made the right choice.
