he looked at her. "hmm?" he said quietly. she was clearly cautious of him. when all he was doing was using her for a hideout from crystal. even though the younger she-cat could see him... and it wasn't so much as a hideout. he liked standing by the pretty she-cat.

Crystal had landed in a bush with an earsplitting screech. She poked her head out of the leaves, her once tidy fur all ruffled, and bounded back over to the pair. "That... was...fun..." she mewed between breaths, "let's.... do it... again!" Her blue eyes automatically refilled themselves with excitement and energy, and she shook a few leaves from her fur. She didn't even bother to try and groom herself. Between her messy fur and her wild eyes, she looked absolutely insane. But then again, she was a kit.

mackerel shook his head. "i think that's enough play for now." he said, glancing at luna. he crouched on the ground and looked between cats. he nodded in greeting to marigoldpool.

and by this, the tom was awfully surprised. luna never seemed really comfortable around him. but now, she was even laying beside him, happily. he took a moment to think about it before a blank expression turned into a thoughtful one, a smile on his features as he gazed at the she-cat.
