As soon as he realized what his sister was doing, Gold rolled his eyes. "Oh no," he muttered sarcastically, laughter creeping into his eyes.
Freedom nodded to Midnight.
Silentpaw looked expectantly at her adopted mother.

Freedom narrowed her eyes. Scare her? Maybe these cats WEREN'T as friendly as she had thought...
Silentpaw padded over with a smile. Suddenly, another Silentpaw appeared next to the original. Then another. And another. All four Silentpaw's smiled at the she-cat and ran around in circles, so it was impossible to tell which was the real one. "Hi!" the all chirped in unision, "we're Silentpaw!" Then three of them ran at the other and they morphed back into one. She grinned.
Freedom stared at her with wide eyes. "How- how did you do that?" she asked.
Another Silentpaw padded over and explained, "she has the ability to cast illusions." Then it disappeared.
Freedom's eyes widened even more. She stared at hem all like they were crazy. A moment later, a small smile appeared on her face. It grew and grew until she started laughing.

Diamond grinned at Freedom. "Congratulations on being the first guest to witness my new favorite way of greeting cats," she mewed with laughter in her voice. She grinned at her adopted daughter and added, "you should've seen Gold's face when Silentpaw did it to him."
