Lilacpaw waited, not being able to see the fighters with wide blue eyes. It was absolutly maddening to know they were right around the corner. She heard nails scraping on stone and winced, waiting.
Ravenclaw tore around the corner, looking around wildly for Orchidstream.
Robinkit howled yet again, clawing at ther bars of her cage.
Chocoaltekit and Jack waited, quivering in their cages.

He snarled and dodged, receiving a small claw mark on his flank. He suddenly leaped, aiming for her face.

his claws met her face and she yowled, unable to see out of one eye. she felt unbalance and shut both eeys, attacking in a blind rage. she knew she was going to die. well, maybe.

He stumbled as her flailing claws raked across her face, then yowled as an NPC knocked him down. He fought her, then ran back into the alley.

If Flame knew that the wrath of Daggerpaw could be aimed at him, he would have thanked the non-existent gods that he had come upon Lilacpaw from behind.
The leader dodged nimbly aside as Maplestar came at him. He aimed to duck under her belly and strike where she was weak.
Tiger quickly followed Slayer, slipping through the side alleys silently at his side.

Ravenclaw ran op and, gasping, pried open the latch on the cage, freeing the nightshade.

Orchidstream burst free of her cage and dipped her head to Ravenclaw. "We should free the others. They can help fight," she mewed, gesturing to the other cages.

She nodded, and ordered, "Stay out of trouble. You are the only nightshade, Neuropaw was killed by these idiots."

daggerpaw finally made it to the prisoner's cages. he found lilacpaw and darted over, ignoring ravenclaw and orchidstream. the tom clawed at the latch and pried it open. he had the advantage of being bigger and stronger so he could easily free the she-cat.

Orchidstream gasped and nodded, wanting to seek revenge but knew better than to disobey orders. She ran off and began freeing cats, starting with those who looked like the best fighters and then moving on to apprentices or younger cats.

She ran up to him and looked at him, thanking the bigger cat she knew to be Daggerpaw with grateful blue eyes. The small shamans apprentice stood there for a moment, unsure of what to do.
