Dart walked into one of the dens and emerged with an NPC member. The NPC tom looked frightened as he exited the camp with a series of Dart's followers. Dart eyed the remaining cats suspiciously and stopped one of his followers. "While we're out on patrol, I want you to keep an eye on things. Got it?" The cat nodded, clearly afraid that if he didn't do exactly what Dart sad he would be killed. Dart nodded, looked around once more, and slipped out of the camp.
The tom's heart was beating so fast, so hard that he thought it might jump out of his chest. "Alright, every cat," he called, trying to sound powerful, "as long as Dart is gone, I am in charge of all you." He nodded and walked over to the corner of the camp where he began to monitor the cats' every move.
~time skip~
The gentle sound of the tom's snoring drifted through the camp. It hadn't taken long for him to get bored and fall asleep. Whisper walked over to him, inspecting him to make sure he really was asleep. Then she said to a few of the cats who were there, "we need to do something about Dart." Her voice was low, urgent.

shade padded over in his regular possession. he nodded to whisper, though there was a sad look in his eyes and truthfully, he was exhausted. the brown tabby tom was still scratched up from his fight with dart. and it was quite strange because the wounds he'd received in his panther body had transferred when he had changed bodies. he sighed. there wasn't much they could do other than escape and try to remake the shadowwhispers, and/or possibly gain strong enough forces to fight dart.

"I have a plan," she mewed, looking over her shoulder to make sure the guard was still sleeping. she looked back to the cats and said, "Chrysanthemum (just assuming she's there), tell Dart that you need a really rare herb that only grows near the Platinum Brigade. You can make it up, if you need to. Then tell them what's going on and ask for help. If they can come, tell them to come at sunhigh from the east border, when Dart is out patrolling the wast border. Got it?" she looked to everyone as she spoke.

Ocean padded up. His limp was almost gone, and he looked around nervously before sitting down.

shade sighed and padded away. there was nothing he could do. he was weak. and he was giving up.

he just nodded, feeling like he was worthless, and quickly darted away. he sighed once he was farther on, a slight bit of disappointment overwhelming him.

She sighed and sadly slipped away just as Dart's patrol returned. The guard was awoken by the sound of all their paws pounding against the forest floor as they raced back to camp.

Chrysanthemum looked up as Dart and his patrol returned. She approached slowly, appearing submissive.

"I'd like permission to leave the territory to find an herb. It doesn't grow anywhere in the territiry but i do plan on planting a crop of it soon," Chrysanthemum mewed, her tone polite and respectful.

He looked her over. "Alright," he growled, "you can go find it when we go on patrol tomorrow morning."
