Hey everyone.
We all know this site has been very inactive. I love roleplaying with all of you, but I lost a lot of muse after the site slowed down so much. I've devoted a lot of my time to WCRPG now, since I'm attempting to get a clan of mine official status via getting 10,000 posts. This means I'm spending most of my time there, and I haven't been on here in a while. I'd love for LPWCRPG to be active again. We have a good community here, and it's fun to roleplay with you all. I'm trying to think of ways to draw people to the site, and I want your help.
So if you want to have LPWCRPG active again, start posting your ideas, and advertising. I was thinking perhaps a slight name change, because this is modeled a bit after WCRPG, if we are attracting WCRPG members, they might wonder why the name is so similar.
However that bit is up to Piney, and if we can get this site going again, I'll PM her on WCRPG and as about it.
Another thing, perhaps changing the style of the board? I know this won't just magically make more people come, but perhaps it would make the site more interesting?

I can make any changes, however we have to consult Piney first. To me, LP has just received the title of boring.. We need to find a way to spruce it up, and gather more members like you said. It's kind of hard to make more activity when there are so little bit of people on here. It's kind of like nobody really cares about LP anymore, which is sad.

What I'd like to figure out is how we're going to advertise this site when on WCRPG you can't even give out the link.

Yeah. I think the problem is because they are both proboard forums, even though WCRPG is using Simple Machines for it's layout. I don't want to copy them, but perhaps a layout a little more like theirs? With the centered boards and all. Perhaps it's help put a little more focus on the main clans and keep the different areas separate? I can go looking for skins as well, that will rearrange the board how we like.
And perhaps we should look for a few plugins? The site probably only has one key left, since it uses monetary and shop, but other plugins that don't require keys can be used.

I know a plugin that allows you to have easy access sub accounts, but I haven't been able to get it working on my test forum. Skins and Plugins are relatively easy to install, though editing skins can be a bit tricky.

Sub-accounts sounds good, however I'm not sure how that'd work on here... I wanna say there was a way to link accounts somewhere in your account settings... I think I'm wrong though.
