Zane and Kulai uncovered their kill and carry it back behind Ara. Zane had a skip in his walk has he was happy he had got a bird for the first time.

Imperfectkit padded into the medic den and frowned when Lumi wasn't there. Turning around, she retreated from the den and let her amber gaze skim the clearing. She recognized Darksoul talking with the hunting patrol that had just got back, and cats walking around the clearing, but no sign of the medic or her brother Cauldron. They must be out in the forest, Imp thought, bouncing across the clearing. Herb gathering must be fun! Excitedly, she trotted through the entrance, not caring whether Darksoul would be mad or not. Afterall, she would become a novice in a few days. |

Luminous padded through the forest,
keeping her eyes out for the desired
plants. In the distance she saw purple
and white bell-shaped buds poking out of
the ground. Comfrey! Lumi looked back
at her brother and nodded at him to follow.
She started running towards the plant.
Cauldron ran after Luminous, she was
a rather fast runner, and he had a hard
time catching up to her. Slow down! |

"That's good to hear, Imp- Imperfectkit was able to do a hunting crouch without losing her balance" he mewed, quickly correcting his mistake of calling his daughter by her nickname. He usually only called her Imp around her. It was a strange thing to do, but it was a sort of formality. "I think I'll be calling a meeting he mewed," turning to go.
(Nighty, is it ok if Imp's ceremony happens now?)

Imp stopped in her tracks, hearing her father's call. Turning around, she took off back through the entrance, curiosity sparking her gaze. The she-cat padded across the clearing slowly.

The tabby Monarch saw Imp arrive, and looked around for Lumi, the only current medic. He wanted to start as soon as possible, but he didn't see her anywhere. He decided her would start with Zane instead. "Zane, come forward" he mewed, his voice projected over the small group of cats.
