Imp was surprised. Zane was becoming a member? Suddenly a surge of unknown jealousy sparked the she-cat. She narrowed her eyes. It was hard to decide what she wanted to become. She was too young to be a member, so she had to go through moons of training. Medics were similar, but you were capable of healing cats and learning herbs before. Thinking her decision through, a thought occurred to her and she lit up like a light bulb, her eyes shining and a genuine smile laid upon her maw. She could go through training as a medic, but after she'd learned everything, she could switch back to being a member. And... someone could train her in her absence in the medic den. Train her to be a member! Yes! Imperfectkit didn't know how Darksoul would react to this, so maybe it was best to not ask him to mentor her? She could get someone else... someone close to her age, and willing not to give her away. Then her eyes flickered back to Zane. That's it! Zane could mentor her. It seemed the young she-cat had made her decision. And she wasn't close to changing her mind just yet. |

Unware of the commotion back in camp,
Luminous tore at the stems of the
Comfrey and dug out the roots.
She had gathered two piles of the thick
dark root, one for her, and one for
Cauldron. She picked up the root in her jaw
and headed back toward the mansion. |

Ara had been sent by Darksoul to find Luminous. She knew that Cauldron was with his sisters, so she called out. "Luminous, Cauldron!" She said, flicking her tail as she padded through the dense woods.
"Then I pronounce you as a member of the Darkhearts" he mewed.

Cauldron perked his ears as he
heard someone calling out his
and Luminous's names. How
stupid, why call out Lumi's name?
He soon recognized the mew, it was
Ara. He looked over at his unsuspecting
sister and caught her attention by
waving his tail, She looked at him as
he dropped his herbs to speak.
"Ara, is calling for us."
Luminous saw Cauldron waving his
tail to get her attention, he dropped
the bundle of roots to speak to her. She
studied his maw carefully, and interpreted
Ara is calling.
"Arr- Uh?"
Her brother nodded.

Hearing voices, Ara headed towards the sound of Cauldron. "Darksoul called a ceremony, he says he needs Luminous" she mewed upon approach.

Luminous read Ara's muzzle, and
she was confused, had she heard right?
Why would Darksoul need her?
"Urh- obekay.."
Luminous followed Ara and her brother
back to the mansion.

Ara padded back in the direction of the mansion. It wasn't to long until they arrived back at camp.
Seeing Ara come out of the forest with Luminous and Cauldron in tow, the tabby Monarch began the next ceremony. "Imperfectkit, come forward" he mewed.

Imperfectkit's eyes stretched wide. She was becoming a novice now! The she-cat burst across the clearing, not caring that her fur was a mess. She'd received no notice of this ceremony to get herself looking formal in time. And of course, she had no overwhelming mother to groom it in the stretch between the staircase and the camp entry. Imp trotted up the stairs to her father's side, her amber eyes lit up like flames.

"Imperfectkit" Darksoul mewed, he wished that he didn't have to call her that, but it was simply formal. Maybe later he'd ask her about a name change or not, if Nighty doesn't want to change her character's name. "It is time that you were trained as a Darkheart, however, you have chosen a special path." His eyes fell on Luminous, "Luminous, Imperfectkit has requested to become a medic apprentice, and train under you. Do you accept, and swear to train her to the best of your ability?" He asked.

and i dunno about changing her name. what do you think is a better name for her? i pictured her warrior name as imperfecttail, because she has no tail, and she is completely flawed]
