Tribe of Silent Dawn was created by a very orderly cat named Dawn. It's creation was almost an accident; Dawn had simply brought order to a group of rouges. The rouges had been stuck fighting amongst themselves. When Dawn stumbled across them, she couldn't stand to leave them be. It took quite a lot of work to get the rouges to work together. The effort Dawn put into the tribe resulted in a very strict ruled, orderly, but peaceful tribe. Eventually, Dawn became mates with a cat named Silence. The tribe didn't have a name for the longest time, until after Dawn and Silence died. The rouges, out of respect for their leaders, named the tribe Silent Dawn.

the Tribe of Silent Dawn believes that when a cat dies, they become part of the Great Director, a tribe that guides them and helps them know the difference between right and wrong.
There are three very important ceremonies in the lives of Silent Dawn cats. The first is the Seer's Ceremony, the second is the Mentor's Ceremony, and the third is the Christening Ceremony.
Seer's Ceremony: Every full moon, all kits that have reached the age of 5 moons old will stay the night in the Seer's den. While the kits sleep, the seer looks into each of there futures and decides what path each kit should take. The next morning, the Queen/King calls a gathering, and the Seer announces the kits' chosen position.
Mentor's Ceremony: All kits who have been given their position by the Seer will line up in the center of the camp for the mentors to see. The mentors will each choose a kit. This happens every night there is a kit/available mentor. If there are no available mentors, the kit must wait until there is one. Usually, the kit ends up becoming a servant.
Christening Ceremony: This Ceremony is when apprentices who are finished with their training and are ready to move on to be full members of the clan. At this time, Guard Apprentices are tested by one of the Admirals to see if they are prepared to take on the duties of the guard.

Dawn's greatest goal for her tribe was to create a sense of purpose for the wayward cats she lead, so she made very specific ranks for every possible task. Here is a description of the ranks (Note: Queens and kits are also ranks, but they are standard ranks and aren't in need of explanation):

| Guards | Guards are cats trained to protect the clan, and are on duty almost constantly. When they are not, they are almost always resting. | Servants | These cats are deemed unworthy to hold any position, so they are to serve the other cats of the clan, helping where they can. Most are physically disabled in some way. The Tribe of Silent Dawn is nestled on the side of a mountain, at the front of a large valley. A huge river runs through that valley, fed by mountain streams, giving the tribe fish and plenty of water. The river ends in a lake, where two-legs come during the summer months to camp. The tribe mainly stays away from them. The camp itself is in a cave in the mountainside. Leafbare is harsh here, but summers are often comfertuably warm and prey is very plentiful.

Personality: Eclipse hardly ever starts a conversation, and when someone approaches her, her answers are as short as possible. Despite her quiet demeanor, she's very opinionated, and will let that opinion be known if necessary. Sometimes, if she doesn't agree with a decision, no matter who it's made by, she will ignore it. She relies on logic to make her decisions, and never lets emotions cloud her judgement, which she sees as a weakness. She thinks of herself as a very capable cat, and never doubts she could complete any task given to her. Sometimes this shows a bit, and cats tend to misinterpret it as self righteousness. Almost to replace her lack of emotion, she has a way of guessing what's on a cats mind, because she's very good at reading emotions, which developed from her training herself not to show emotion.
She has a surprising soft spot for kits; they manage to get some surprising reactions out of her. This is a hint at a softer side she keeps hidden away, and that only shows in extreme conditions.
Likes~quiet, solitude, cats with intelligence, kits.
Dislikes~ignorance, crowds.
Strengths~hunting, keeping her cool. She's really smart, and careful.
Weaknesses~listening to orders, socializing,
Appearance; sleek, charcoal black she-cat with off white markings on her paws and face. She has stunning dark gray eyes, which seem to know the way to a cat's soul. Like every cat in the clan, she bares the proper markings for her rank.;
