a slender young feline waltzed over to the riverclan border,
a smile poised on his masculine features. he was clad with
dusky brown fur tipped with dark brown, giving his fur a
chocolate hued aura. his bright blue eyes glittered
confidently as he waited for a patrol. he knew this was
the place for him to be.
the tom cat was a loner before he heard of the clans;
he wandered about the city, scavenging for scraps
left by the humans. the best meal he had in his life
was a fourth of a hamburger; and it was good. that
may be part of why he was so slender.
some might say he had a some-what feminine
build. but he is simply slender and agile,
not broad shouldered and muscular. he had
the perfect build for swimming.
that's why he was there. he had been traveling
around the city when he heard some loners
talking about the fearsome clans of the forest.
intrigued, he asked for more information. sure
the other clans sounded cool, but riverclan just
spoke to him in a way that none of the other
clans did. you see, he loved to swim. it was his
passion. his friends teased him, but he didn't care.
it was worth it; he was a very strong swimmer and
had some good battle tactics in the water.
so he traveled to the clan, and there he was, waiting
to see if he could join the ranks of what he knew
would be his dream home. |

Timepaw had been padding near the border when he had smelled a foreign scent. He spotted the muscular tom, and quickly made his way over. "Name and business?" He asked, looking the loner over.

"erm," the tom quickly brainstormed
a name to suit him. he heard that the
clan cats possessed strange two-part
names, so he came up with; "underpaw.
i'm here to join, riverclan is it?" he
meowed casually, with a shrug of his
rounded shoulders. the tom leaned
down and gave his dusty brown fur
a quick lick. |

Underpaw? Was that really the tom's name? he was definitely a loner as far as Timepaw could tell, so was it could be just coincidence. "Yes, this is Riverclan" the apprentice mewed. "Interesting name for a loner" Timepaw commented.

"cool," he meowed. he was about to add something
when the clan cat made the comment. his bright blue
gaze flicked away for a moment before a sheepish
expression grew upon his masculine features. "er,
I just made it up." he admitted. he paused and
thought for a moment, a look of concentration
splashed upon his face. "come to think of it, I
don't think I had a name," |

The black tom nodded, "well, you won't be going without one if you join" he mewed. "I can't accept you into the clan, but if you swear your loyalty then there are others that can." Riverclan still needed a leader, so Timepaw truthfully didn't really know who could accept the loner, but it wasn't him, so he would wait for a warrior to show up.

A brown figure whom was watching from the shadows stepped out into the open. His yellow eyes were narrowed as he stared at the newcomer and apprentice. He would flick his long dark tail and sweep it across the ground before taking a few steps towards the two. "And so, what makes you think you are worthy of joining RiverClan?" The muscular figure of Barracudafin questioned. |

underpaw let a smile appear on his maw
as the apprentice spoke to him. "yeah, I
swear my loyalty to riverclan," he meowed,
raising a paw up for good measure. his
aqua gaze flickered to the new comer. the
young tom looked him over, a slight frown
setting upon his maw. "this is a clan of
water right? i'm a pretty strong swimmer
and I know some battle tactics for the
water," he meowed, not caring that he may
have sounded a bit braggy. just because
he was a loner and not a amazing warrior
of riverclan didn't mean he wasn't worthy. |

The warrior thought for a moment, looking over the young tom. He seemed like a rather sly young fellow. Though he seemed as though he really wanted to join RiverClan. And he was rather eager, though inexperienced. Perhaps his qualities could bring some good to the clan, between the advantages and disadvantages. "Well then, I suppose you are worthy of becoming a member of RiverClan." Barracudafin said, staring at the loner with an unpredictable expression. "But of course, you have much to learn before you can become a full-fledged warrior." |

(If you mean joining Riverclan, then yes, you can either start as a member that has already joined/was born in Riverclan or, you can have your character join by making a new thread where your character comes to join.)
(If you mean joining and roleplaying in this thread, the thing is that this thread is kind of over, so if you want to roleplay, you should make a new thread.)
