"I was thinking we should hunt by the grove of maples" he mewed. There was a rather out of place looking grove of maple trees not to far of camp, which often had prey living in it's roots. The reason it looked so out of place was because of the pine trees that set a back drop for the Shadowclan territory.

trainwreck couldn't help but grin. the maples were always so beautiful this time of year. "sounds good." his deep voice sounded as he followed the small group. the mice and voles and other animals always scurried around there. it was quite the reliable resource for prey in trainwreck's opinion.

Diamond nodded consent. "Lets go," the she-cat said authoritatively, heading in the direction of the maple grove. Well, the mud coat would be useless now. Brown pelts stuck out amongst maples, although perhaps a little less than a silver pelt. Nonetheless, it would dosguise her scent.

Phantompains didn't really have anything to say at that point. Everyone else had already mewed what needed to be said. He trotted carefully after the patrol.

It was long until Blackhole stopped, crouching at the edge of the maple grove. "I'll go right with Diamondclaw, Trainwreck, Phantompains, why don't you two go left" he mewed.

Phantompains nodded, not wanting to scare off any prey. He lurked off to the right, his yellow eyes peeled for prey.

Phantompains looked down at the black kitten. "I'm not sure..." he tried to break it carefully. "I don't think kits are allowed out of camp, let alone to go hunting. You should probably go back," the black tom advised.

stormkit scrunched up her face, her green eyes blazing. she stomped her foot, and lifted her head defiantly. "fine, be that way!" the bipolar kitten hissed, before turning tail and stalking off. jerks, she thought nastily.

Phantompains' dark head tipped to the side in confusion. The kitten had seemed calm and friendly enough before. "I can bring you back to camp," the tom offered.

Phantompains watched her go through blank yellow eyes. "I was trying to help..." he trailed off, turning away. Hopefully the over dramatic she-kit hadn't scared off too much prey. He would never get she-cats.

trainwreck was a bit taken back by the kit's response. the grey tabby couldn't stand to see something like this. "it's alright stormkit. maybe we could go later." he whispered to stormkit. his bright orange eyes shone with hope that she would accept his invitation.
