(First Non-Administrator Roleplay Thread!)
A silky black tom-cat sat in his clan's camp. His deep green and silver flecked eyes seemed to glow as they reflected the first few rays of early morning sun. His black paws were planted in a thin layer of frost that covered the ground. Camp was silent, as Blackhole was the first one up.

Diamondclaw was up early as well. The silver she-cat walked into the camp clearing. After a moment of careful observations with her emerald eyes, she spotted Blackhole as the only other one up. As much as Diamond despised socializing, she was bored and had nothing to do. The she-cat padded forward, seeming rather reluctant to be around another cat. "Hello," she meowed in a monotone, dipping her head shortly in greeting as she sat down next to the black tom.

Blackhole's deep green optics moved to look at Diamondclaw. "Hello" he mewed simply. His voice was a deep rumble, and as his clanmate came to a stop, he stood up. The black tom stretched, muscles rippling under his black coat as his claws extended to pierce through the frosty ground. Blackhole often was up before the break of dawn, watching the dark forest around his clan's camp, and looking for any signs of disturbance in the surrounding area. It wasn't so much a protective habit as a calming one, giving him time alone in the crisp forest around them before he went to his duties, and before his other clanmates got up.

The she-cat nodded curtly. Diamond then directed her emerald gaze to the freshkill pile. It appeared to be dwindling; only a scrawny sparrow remained. She was about to ditch the tom and go hunting herself, but that would probably be rude. Reluctantly, she turned to Blackhole. "Would you like to go hunting with me?" Diamondclaw asked in clipped tones.

Phantompains poked his head out of the warrior's den. The social tom padded over to his Clanmates. "H'lo," he murmured in his strangely accented voice. "May I come along?" the black-pelted warrior asked, his gloomy grey optics alight with interest.

The dark tom paced himself as he approached the trio. His dusky tabby fur was laying flat on his shoulders, and he was relaxed. Trainwreck offered a cool, collected greeting. "Hello." His bright orange eyes scanned each of his clanmates. Nothing seemed to be fishy so, might a well. "If I could tag along that would be great." Trainwreck's dark grey muzzle allowed a grin, a warm one at that. |

"Hi, Trainwreck!" the younger warrior chirped as the tom approached. Phantompains was in a particularly good mood today and it was showing. His black tail flicked excitedly across the grass.

Blackhole's tail flicked back and forth as Phantompains and Trainwreck gathered. He just hoped Phantompains wouldn't scare away all the prey with his happy chirping. Of course, he wasn't going to say that, not now. "Of course you can come" he mewed, after nodding as a yes to Diamondclaw.

trainwreck's bright eyes got even more bright at the kind words said to him. "hey, phantompains!" he meowed, trying to match the youthful tom's voice. blackhole's words were very pleasant as well. "thank you." he nodded to the black tom. his gratitude was grand to the welcoming to the patrol and the greeting from phantompains.

Phantom smiled. "Shall we go now?" he asked, stalking playfully towards the entrance to camp. Sure he was acting a bit like an apprentice but after all, he had only just become a warrior.

Diamond nodded. "Sounds good to me. Black?" she questioned, turning to the other warrior.

Blackhole padded out of camp, knowing that the other Shadowclanners would come as well. He planned to stop not to far away and plan out where they would hunt with the rest of the impromptu patrol.

The she-cat quickly and quietly followed, carefully rolling around in some mud to mask her silver coat. Diamond hopped to her paws and quickly trotted after Blackhole after she accomplished her task. "Where are we hunting?" Diamondclaw asked quietly.

trainwreck followed the herd, this was going to be a good trip. he could feel it. "i would have asked that as well." he whispered, supporting diamondclaw's question. the shadowclan territory had o many fantastic places for hunting, he thought were they would choose. his large paws stepped a tense behind blackhole and diamondclaw, but still in earshot.
