Evereststar stood impatiently by the border. He was here to talk to Blackstar. The grey tom tapped his foot as he waited.

(Woops, need to pay more attention.)
Blackstar had wanted to get out of camp, so he had decided to go patrol the borders. There was no one else around to talk to, and though he had debated inviting Phantompains, he decided to go alone. Padding along, he smelled the scent of another cat. Not Shadowclan, Skyclan. Pausing, he located the scent's source, and seeing Evereststar from his hiding spot, decided it would be best to simply approach. Standing and exiting cover, he nodded to the other leader. "Hello" he said, watching Evereststar closely.

"Good afternoon," Evereststar replied. "I wish to discus an alliance with you. I currently believe we might be the two strongest Clans in the forest, so it would be intelligent to become allies. Do you agree?" His was cold and unfeeling, he did not want emotions to get in the way of what would be best for his Clan.

Blackstar was silent for a moment. True, Skyclan was one of the clans who had a more experienced leader, Evereststar having been deputy, and Windclan and Riverclan were leaderless. Meanwhile Thunderclan had a new leader, and though Blackstar was also a warrior before become a leader, Shadowclan was not only closer to Skyclan, but they already were getting stronger.
(Really sorry, I'll finish in the morning, super rushed.)

Blackstar knew an alliance would benefit Shadowclan, as long as it was with the right clan. "I do agree" Blackstar said, "most of the other clans have yet to get a leader." He knew that if he wasn't careful, an alliance could not do well for Shadowclan, but he thought that becoming the allies of Skyclan wouldn't be a bad decision. "If you wish for an alliance between our clans, then I would likely agree to one, are there any terms you'd like to lay down?" |

Evereststar nodded, a polite smile slipping onto his grim maw. "Neither of us shall attack or steal prey from the other. If the one Clan is under attack, the other will come to their defense. Do you agree to these terms?" he asked, his face emotion-less and calm.

"I agree" Blackstar said, a formal tone to his voice. "I hope with alliance with benefit us both, however, if there is nothing more you wish to discuss, then I will return to my clan."
