Timepaw stood in the center of camp. "Riverclan, gather!" He called, loud and clear. He wanted to get this started as soon as possible, and there weren't really any active warriors in Riverclan. It was time to speed things up.

Imaginarypaw padded over as Timepaw announced a meeting.
Angelkit was there, too.

(Well, you could make one if you'd like, I think Riverclan is pretty much the most inactive clan.)
Deciding he should probably start, Timepaw looked down at Angelkit. "Angelkit, come forward" he said, "you have worked with me in the shaman den several times, and I think you have proved that you are ready to become an apprentice."

The white she-kit's eyes lit up. She was six moons old and would finally become her dreamed rank, a medicine cat apprentice! Angelkit padded forward gracefully, her tail high in the air.

Mysticalrain smiled as the kit was promoted. She stood by the warrior den, quietly observing.

"Angelkit, is it your wish to train to be a shaman, taking a path different from all your fellow clanmates?" He asked, padding down from the mound to look the snowy kit in the eyes.

"I do!" The she-cat replied with devotion. Her icy blue gaze glittered, and in the depths you could almost see the faint twinkle of starlight. She was meant for this position.

"Then from this point on, until you are given your warrior name by your mentor, you shall be known as Angelpaw, and will work in the shaman den, learning the ways of healing" Timepaw said.

Scarredbeech looked out from the warriors den to see the kit and Timepaw announce Angelkit was now Angelpaw. She quickly came out and cheered the new apprentice's name.

When the voices of his clanmates had quieted down, Timepaw continued. "As you all know, Riverclan is still in need of a leader" he began. "Because I am not yet sure of who will be promoted to leader, I will complete leader duties; accepting new members and doing any needed ceremonies, until we get an official leader."

Scarredbeech nodded with a smile on her face at the apprentice. Then her smile grew into a grin of satisfaction at the cat. She knew him decently well and knew he would do nice as a temporary leader for Riverclan.

Angelpaw beamed with joy. The white she-cat had finally become a medicine cat apprentice. But how would she get a mentor? Well, perhaps she didn't need one. She could go through moons of teaching herself, especially with comparing knowledge of what she already knew. Medicine cats weren't made in a heartbeat, they had to learn too. But didn't that mean that Ann had to share her knowledge with whomever her mentor would be? Would they know the same things she did about herbs?
