Sunheart hated to be alone. He stared up at the sky, wondering if his ancestors in Starclan were watching him, their wise eyes watching over all of the forest. Maybe one of them was watching him, just maybe.

Nightkit stared at Dovekit, her green eyes wide. "Are- are you talking to me?" she whispered, amazed. No one ever talked to her- she was always left alone with nothing but her thoughts to comfort her. But maybe it didn't have to be that way...
