sparrowflight was surprised by what he had heard. the grim tom just let out a grunt, not really caring. his ambition vanished, and so did his kindness. even though he didn't care, he didn't think it was fair to promote someone one day and then demote them the next. though rather than argue with the leader, or cause commotion, he let out a low growl and retreated from the crowd, not listening to another word. he padded out of camp and decided to take a walk along the windclan border.
