Timepaw leaped on to of the large mound on which he called meetings. "Riverclan, gather!" he called, standing tall as he waited for his clan to gather. He seemed confident, but he wasn't really. He was quite nervous, and not sure of his decision, but Piney was making him decide he couldn't put it off much longer. He was rather worried about not choosing a Riverclan born warrior, but this was his decision.

His eyes wandered across Riverclan, resting momentarily on Imaginarypaw, before falling on Maplecandy. "Maplecandy, so far you have proved yourself to be a strong and loyal warrior of Riverclan. I believe that you have what it takes to be the leader of this clan." He watched her carefully, eyes fixed.

Excitement. Shock. Joy. Pride. All these emotions shot through Maplecandy. She was worthy. Her new Clan accepted her. Trusted her. Looked up to her even. The lioness vowed to devote all her nine lives to RiverClan. "I-I am honored. Thank you," the new leader replied, her voice cracking.

"Soon you will have to travel to moonstone, that is where you will receive your lives and name from Starclan." Said Timepaw, dipping his head to their new leader, and stepping down from the mound.
