A tiny black and silver tabby she-kit lightly stumbled through the trees. She suddenly smelled an overwhelming scent. She coughed softly and continued tripping and tumbling on her way. Her mysterious blue eyes wandered the forest. "Hello?" she squeaked softly. She was trembling now. What if there were bigger, stronger cats who would hurt her? She tried to push the thought away and she walked along. Suddenly, the image of a castle flashed in her mind. She blinked. It was gone. She kept walking, wondering if she would find that castle.

Flame perked his red ears. He heard a faint squeak, and a few other noises not far from him in the forest. Swiftly tracking down the scent, he spotted the stumbling kit. The tom quickly went over, "are you alright?" He asked kindly, padding up and stopping not to far in front of the kit.

The kit jumped suddenly, startled. Immediately, she turned invisible. (She doesn't know she can do that) "Please don't hurt me," she squeaked softly. Then she wondered if this cat lived in the castle she had seen.

"Don't worry, I won't hurt you" Flame mewed gently, it seemed that the she-kit didn't realize she was invisible. "I am a member of the Monarchy, my name is Flame" he said.

"Monarchy," she repeated softly. She liked the way the words rolled off her tongue. "My name is Crystal," she mewed softly. Then, after a moment of hesitation, "Do- do you live in a castle?" She reappeared slighly

Flame smiled, "yes I do" he said, noticing her small form starting to reappear.

Flame nodded, "you can" he mewed kindly. "You know, your slightly invisible" he said, seeing as the kit didn't seem to notice.

Crystal tilted her head. "Huh?" she said before looking down at her paws. All she saw was a faint outline. She squealed slightly, leaping back. "Oh," she murmured distractedly. She pushed the thought aside. She would figure it out later. "Let's go see the castle!" She hopped in excited circles around Flame.

The knight nodded, "follow me" he said, turning in the direction of his home. The red tom looked back over his shoulder, to make sure Crystal was following.

Crystal trotted eagerly behind Flame, scanning the trees to make sure she didn't miss the castle.

Emerging from the forest, Flame stopped, waiting for Crystal to see the castle ahead of them.

Crystal somersaulted out of the forest. She stood up, shaking the leaves from her fur. Then she saw it. The castle. It was surrounded by a circle of water. It was amazing, the most amazing thing she'd ever seen. "Woah," she whispered, her blue eyes wide.

"Impressive, isn't it" said Flame, looking at the castle for a moment, before back at Crystal. "What brought you here to the Monarchy?" He asked.

Crystal shrugged. "I guess it was just luck," she murmured, her eyes still fixed on the castle. She had simply been walking. Not to any specific place, just walking.
