lightningstar lead his patrol among the shadowclan border, coming to an abrupt halt as soon as he'd made his destination. silently, he stared on across shadowclan territory, hoping to meet up with one of their own patrols. |

Sunheart stood beside his apprentice. His eye turned to the Shadowclanner as he waited quietly for Lightningstar to reply.

Blackstar approached the border. The jet black tom's eyes locked on Lightningstar, and he stopped beside his warrior. He watched, eyes boring into the other tom as he waited.

phantompains dipped his head to his leader and stepped back, letting blackstar handle it from then on.

"Then your looking for me" Blackstar rumbled, his eyes still piercing the other tom. "What is it you have come here to say?" He asked, voice not holding much emotion.

"thunderclan has come to inquire you about whether you are still going to attend the gathering this full moon." he spoke formally, his head and tail held high with confidence. lightningstar was not one to show weakness or hostility. he was supposed to model and represent thunderclan. and under that influence, he would make sure his own appearance was well presented. |

"very well then. that is all i wished to know." replied the thunderclan leader, his expression unchanged still. he dipped his head in farewell and flicked his tail for the rest of his patrol to follow as he headed into windclan's direction. |
