The Tribe of Dancing Flame
History
Long, long ago, there was a tribe called the Tribe of Dancing Flame. They were just like every other tribe. One day, they were attacked by a group of rouges and loners. Many cats were killed and those who weren't were injured. So the tribe waited until it was healthy and strong and they attacked the rouge/loner camp. The entire tribe went. All, except one cat named Whisper of Rustling Leaves. Whisper knew that her tribe would not be coming back from this battle. But she stayed in the camp. One night, a cat named Sparrow of the Blue Skies found her. 2 more cats, Hazel and Dust, eventually came to the camp too. Together, they decided to recreate the Tribe of Dancing Flame.

Beliefs
The Tribe of Dancing Flame believes that when cats die, they join the Tribe of Watching Angels. The Tribe of Watching Angels sends messages to the Flamewatcher, Healer, and, sometimes, the Healer apprentice. The messages are received when a Flamewatcher, Healer, or Healer Apprentice use Firesticks to light a fire in a circle of rocks. The circle of rocks is located in the Fire den. Once the fire is lit, a cat simply looks into the flames, focusing all their attention on the fire and its crackling. The Tribe of Watching Angels puts the fire out when the message is over. The coals are left alone until they stop burning. When a cat becomes Flamewatcher, Deputy, or Healer, they must walk across the lit coals to prove their worth.
Territory
The tribe's camp is a cave about half-way up a huge mountain. The entrance to the camp is a few tail lengths from the edge of a cliff. To the right of the cliff, the mountain continues. This area is covered in rivers and herbs. To the left of the cliff is a large forest, crawling with prey. Beyond the forest is a moor, and beyond that there are more mountains. Inside the camp, there is a large pool at the center. A small trail of water leads from the pool to the bottom of a boulder. The Flamewatcher makes announcements from the top of the boulder. Behind the boulder is the Fire den, where messages from the Tribe of Watching Angels are received. A cave next to the boulder is the Flamewatcher's den. Another cave on the other side of the boulder is the Healer's den. Every other den is made from branches woven together and draped with leaves.
