daggerpaw was strolling through the dark woods, heading for the border with windclan. he stopped by the stream on his way to get a drink. but as he crouched down and looked into the water, he noticed something he hadn't noticed before. his body was transformed into a large black creature. his ears were curved, his tail was long, and his paws were huge! his eyes were the same, but his body was different. daggerpaw looked more closely at his fur, trying to define what the very very faint markings were on his side. were those.... spots? "a black panther?" he hissed out loud, grumbling. he sighed and sat down. how wonderful. |

The black tom was padding through Shadowclan's territory when he spotted an unfamiliar shape. Frowning, he ducked into the underbrush so as not to be seen. It was a big cat, a black leopard perhaps? But he couldn't quite tell. "Name and business" he said, decidiing to remain unseen.

Lilacpaw was trying to find herbs when she saw the giant black panther, and froze like a deer in headlights.

he frowned at the sound of his mentor's voice. "blackstar, it's me, daggerpaw." the apprentice grumbled, still looking at his reflection in the water.

haha. perhaps dagger should be more enthusiastic about this, but he just didn't feel right about it. but he could sense disappointment from his mentor, and as he turned to look at him, he couldn't help but begin to chuckle, laughing hoarsely at the leader. "w-what? are you afraid that i will beat you in training now?"

"Of course not, I can still beat you easily" the tom teased his apprentice. He wondered if the body was permanent, or if Daggerpaw could also use his old body.

daggerpaw wondered the exact same thing. he didn't know quite how to change back. he did find that once he learned, he could use this body as an advantage. and a hint of excitement was rushed through him. but he debated whether he would show unsolvedpaw during the next visit or not. "you're probably right, however in battle i may have the advantage of taking you down. being that my size is incredibly large." he said, a somewhat disgusted look on his face, but vanishing almost immediately.
