Flametrike didn't have much to do at the moment. He sat in a large alleyway, accompanied by nothing but an old dumpster. The thing stank like hell, but he just ignored it. He was focusing on something a leaf, carried in by the wind. He though about setting it alight, and what it would look like. Suddenly a small flame leaped up from nothing, dancing on the leaf. Padding closer her frowned, holding his paw over it. It was cold, there was nothing there, and the flame quickly disappeared. He tried again, concentrating hard, willing for the flame to return, and after a moment's focus it did. He willed it to grow brighter, bigger, and soon it was almost as tall as him, completely covering the leaf.
