lightningstar smiled and touched noses with his apprentice. he turned back to continue the ceremonies. he would talk to his apprentice later. "jade, please come forward." the tom continued.
meanwhile, immortalpaw came into the plot picture randomly, padding over to congratulate nightpaw on her apprenticeship. "hey. welcome to the world of apprenticeship." he said jokingly, though sincerely. a kind smile was offered as he looked at her, his yellow gaze shining with friendliness.

Dovekit walked up to her sister. "It's kinda weird how you're an apprentice and I'm still a kit," she whispered to Nightpaw.

Nightpaw nodded. She had just been thinking the same thing. In fact, Dovekit was a few seconds older than Nightkit (that ok?) which made it even weirder.

"jade, you've reached the age past six moons and it is way overdue the time for you to be apprenticed. from now on, until you shall receive your warrior name, you will be known as jadepaw." lightnightstar said, formally. his eyes shown his apology, for he had wished this had been a moon earlier.

he dipped his head. "of course." the leader's amber gaze scanned the gathering of cats and finally rested on one whose apprentice had been incredibly inactive lately, and the tom needed to be more active around thunderclan, otherwise he'd be demoted. "sunheart, you have already mentored once before, and i have decided to provide you with a challenge of mentoring two. i trust and expect that you will pass down all that you know to jade."
