Time sat still. Or rather, Timepaw. The apprentice was silent, watching the woods before him, his black and white fur barely ruffled by the breeze. Please come he thought, please please come. He would wait. He would wait here forever if he was waiting for her. So that's exactly what he did. He waited, breath held tight.

a rather plump looking silver tabby appeared from ahead, sprinting over to the tom. her belly slightly touched the ground as she came, and it was rather awkward for her too, having slight cramps in her belly every time she sped up. though she would go through whatever pain for him. as soon as she approached him she pushed her face into his, cuddling up to him. a sort of cat way of hugging.

Timepaw nuzzled the plump she-cat. He was glad to see her, but after a moment of affection, he stepped back. It hadn't been long since he saw her last, as they slept in the same den and lived in the same clan, but he looked her over nonetheless, smiling warmly. "How are you feeling?" He asked, a slightly anxious tone to his voice.

Timepaw nuzzled the she-cat gently, his gaze going to her growing belly, however he did not ask, but look at her. She seemed distracted, why? "Is everything alright? he asked.

she shook herself back to him, nodding once the question processed in her mind. "i'm doing better. it's just.... my stomach has been cramping lately." she admitted, clearly oblivious. "and i've gotten... fat." she said with a frown.

He was the shaman apprentice. Well, one of them, and he knew a few things. So when Imagi described how she was feeling, his eyes widened. "Really?" His optics went back to her belly. Surely not... he wasn't sure if he should say it. Should he? "Th-that's.." oh jeez, he he didn't say what he meant know she'd probably be angry at him. "It's just that.. that's usually what happens when a queen is pregnant." He looked back up at her. He hoped he didn't sound like an idiot, oh god, what would she say?

her eyes widened. so stupid! she was such an idiot! how had she not ever known that? masked in her own embarrassment, the silver she-cat didn't know what to say. she was for once speechless. "so that means.... i'm going to be a mother. we're going to be parents." she said surely. "so then, we're officially mates now?" she asked after a moment, feeling awkward more now than ever.

For some reason he hadn't expected that reaction. He looked at her for a moment, taking in what she just said, before nodding. His expression was serious, but a small him of a smile dawned on his features.

a stable smile finally lasted on the she-cat's features, and she nuzzled her mate affectionately. the sound of "mate" was a new vocabulary word for imagi. sure, it sounded silly, but having a mate wasn't something common in her mind. it was nothing like having multiple mates like slayer and dagger
[hahaa omg. i was at school and i was telling my friend about dagger and slayer, and she shipped them off without knowing. she's like, "wait, what? all i heard was daggerslayer" and i was like, "wowww..... you just shipped off two of my MALE characters. daggerblade and dragonslayer."]

The black and white tom returned the gesture, letting the moment linger. It was funny, he had never expected this. He had like Imaginarypaw ever since kithood, and now... now they were mates. "I love you" he mewed quietly. Like a sappy romantic.

And then Timepaw served up a cheesy cliche sandwhich witch cheese sauce on the side.
(At some point I should try to work on my kit for this litter.
I am bursting with muse for Silence! THE PLOT MUST GO ON.)
The monent ended, sadly, but Timepaw stepped back to look her in the eye. "Is there anything you need?" He asked. The tom had no intention of letting her work when she was pregnant. He didn't want her to fet exauhsted or unhealthy.
