Rosepaw eagerly padded up to the waves, moving silently. She watched her shadow as she sat down by the river, not letting it startle her prey. Rosie watched the river intently, waiting for a large fish. She eyes lit up as she saw the glittering scales and flung her paw into the water, smiling as her prey flew out of the water. It flopped around a bit before Rosie killed it swiftly.

The dark gray tom paced to a tree, observing it with watchful eyes. A flicker of movement, and -BAM!- a squirrel lay dead at his feet.

The deputy glanced up to make sure her patrol was doing well. She smiled as she saw their catches before turning back to the water. A little minnow darted by and immediately, she struck it, thrusting it out of the water. She killed it cleanly and placed it delicately on her small pile.

Rosie smiled as she flicked another fish through the air, it's silver scales sparkling in the sun. She quickly killed it and dropped it next to her other fish in satisfaction.

The tom nodded and moved away. Slipping through the underbrush, Timepaw came to a slightly more secluded part of the river. He sighed and sat down. The tom's shadow crossed the water as she sat, and he watched it silently. A fish swam calmly by and he watched it pas under the shade he provided. Rather than reaching out a paw however, he watched it pass, eyes always following, silent.

Rainstorms eyes watched the river closely. He noticed movement out of the corner of his eye and pounced, landing on air and seeing a mouse tail disappear into the bushes. He cursed loudly and turned back to the river.

Rainbowgleam looked at him, her eyes filled with laughter, before focusing on the water once again. She flung a paw towards the water, gracefully plucking a small fish from the water. She killed it immediately before staring deep into the water, allowing her vision to blur and filling her mind with blue and silver splotchs.
