the young tom had his whole life ahead of him. except flame had changed that. phantompains lay dead, surrounded by the scent of bloodclan.

(Though Flame did mask his scent :3)
Blackstar was out hunting, when he noticed something odd. There was a strange tang to the air. It smelled like... blood. The leader turned, and hurried toward the scent, moving swiftly through the forest's shadows. When we arrived the the scene he was already to late. And Lilacpaw was gone. They had to medicine cat. "I'm going to kill whoever did this" he growled, claws sinking into the earth. The pure black tom did not move. He didn't approached Phantompains' body, nor did he move away.
