The dark tabby tom flicked his tail back and forth. He froze however at the sound of a distant call.
"Darksoul! Riverclan leader here!"
He always had to yell. The tom leaped up onto light paws, and moved swiftly through the forest, navigating toward the border and the location from which the guard had called. He quickly reached the group of three. The tom opened his mouth to say something to Shadowstrike, but closed it as he caught sight of the lion standing in wait.
"Your Maplestar I presume?" He asked turning toward her. He had heard that the clan had recently gotten a new leader.
(Is this about Bloodclan?)

the lioness dipped her head. "i am launching an attack on bloodclan and am wondering if the dark hearts will join in," maplestar explained.

Indeed, one of their members had been captured by Bloodclan. It had come as quite an unpleasant surprise to the Monarchy, Ara was quite the fighter after all.
"We will certainly join you" he said, nodding to her, his cold gaze never leaving her face.

"I'll call for you when it's time" that rather sounded like she would be issuing an order, however the tom stayed silent.
(I wonder if it would be better to do this before or after Silence is leader... It would seal her hate for the clans, I dunno.)
