The she-cat was glad to be home. Lightskies took a deep breath of the cool forest and, and let it out in a content sigh. So much had happened in the past moons, she hoped things would be more relaxed now that she was back. She had journeyed to Thunderclan to help them choose a shaman, and stayed there for several days, well about five days. And before that... before that was Mountainpaw's injuries, and then. Snowpaw. Suddenly the forest seemed to darken, and the comforting cool breeze seemed to gain an icy edge. She should had gone with her apprentice, she knew that it was best to go out in pairs, but she had let Snowpaw go alone.
What had she been thinking?
The deputy shivered, suddenly her return did not seem so happy.
Maybe... maybe her clan would be better off without her.

sparrowflight was padding into camp with a bird in his jaw, but immediately dropped it at the sight of lightskies. the brown tabby tom was already dashing across camp and toward her excitedly, appearing as a young apprentice. as he neared, he let out a purr. "lightskies!" he exclaimed. "welcome back."

The she-cat almost jumped. Turning to face the brown tabby that was now rushing toward her, a smile broke her sadness. That was one of the reason she stayed, Sparrowflight.
"Thanks Sparrow" The pure white she-cat mewed, purring as well. "I'm glad to be back."

he smiled and nudged her softly. "it's good to have you back. things were allot different without you." he acknowledged with a slight frown.

The she-cat paused momentarily. Perhaps my clan does need me she thought. "Well, I'm glad I'm home" she said nuzzling the tom gently.

"Lightskies, Lightskies!" Northernkit squealed happily as she came hurtling out of a random bush.

Before Lightskies could speak, Northernkit sped out of a bush into view. "Hello Northernkit" the deputy said in a friendly tone.

Northernkit grinned then sat herself sloppily in front of Lightskies. "Were you with a different clan? Did you help them? Was it fun? Wow, Lightskies, you're so nice! You're also super awesome. And helpful! You're, like, the coolest deputy EVER! I wanna be JUST like YOU!" she rambled excitedly. Then, realizing she had interrupted them, she mewed, "oh, I'm sorry for interrupting you. I didn't mean to. Welcome back, Lightskies, and bye!" And with that, she bounded away again.

sparrow watched as the kit went on and on before darting away. a friendly smirk was on the usually grumpy tom's face. he glanced over at lightskies with amusement in his eyes.

Lightskies laughed warmly at Northernkit's antics. Perhaps one day she would be like Lightskies.. but now she was only a kit, and she had a long ways to go. Turning back to Sparrowflight she smiled at him. She was glad to be back, back home, back with the clanmates she cared for.
