Dovekit places her pinecone several tail lengths away. She slowly stalked up to it, closing half the distance between herself and her 'prey'. Then she pounced, neatly landing with her front paws on it. She then 'killed it' with a swift bite to where she judged it's neck would be had it been a mouse. She looked up, "how was that?"

Nightkit glanced over at Toadsong before turning back to her pinecone. She sighed softly before placing her pinecone on the ground again and preparing to pounce.

Toadsong felt a yawn bubble up inside of her and her tummy gave a large "mrgurglemhr". " Kits! I think its time we all get something to eat." Toadosng suggested.

Sunheart quickly stepped in, it tended to be hard when to turn the hopeful kits down. "Not quite yet" the orange and white warrior said, padding up near Toadsong, "Don't worry, when you are apprentices you'll be able to hunt all you want."
